We are very happy to be able to offer a sauna at this years' retreats. One may ask, is it really necessary to sauna in this climate? All one needs to do is walk up the hill and you can sweat all you want. Well, exercise is great, it is also included in our program and it may give some of the same benefits, but the sauna provides a unique cleansing therapy that has come to be expected in a cleansing health retreat. Many have reported being comforted during their cleanse by the deep heat of a sauna. Many also appreciate the natural detoxifying process of the body in a sauna session.
