In 2010 this jungle sanctuary miraculously became ours and the next chapter of life's journey began...

Your Hosts

Lynn, a spiritual seeker at heart, her path has woven through the transformative psychedelic 60’s, the wisdom of the Sufi tradition, years devoted to studying Indian dance, and valuable time with Landmark education—all experiences that have shaped who she is today.

With a lifelong passion for holistic health and wellness, her career as a registered nurse provided foundation, but her true calling emerged through 23 years (and counting) as a colonic therapist at Body Mind Restoration Retreats. This inspired the creation of Costa Rica Jungle Retreats in 2012, where she hosts intimate wellness retreats creating a space for transformative experiences that cleanse the body, expand the mind, and nourish the spirit.

Her journey with psychedelics began in the 1960s, shaping her understanding of altered states and their profound potential. After years of conventional responsibilities—motherhood, work, and everyday life—she reconnected with these sacred tools, leading to an evolution in both her personal path and her retreat offerings.

When not guiding retreats, Lynn finds joy in connecting with nature, tending her gardens, exploring consciousness, cherishing time with her grandchildren, and occasionally letting loose with swing and salsa dancing.

Todd,  a renaissance man with diverse talents, farmer, fireman, photographer, woodworker, craftsman, builder, natural food store owner, and intuitive massage therapist. He says he’s retired, but life (and Lynn) keeps pulling him back into action.

With over two decades of experience working at Body Mind Restoration Retreats (BMRR) each summer, Todd has seen firsthand what makes a retreat truly transformative. His deep connection to nature, slow-living philosophy, and extensive spiritual studies brings a grounded presence and quiet wisdom to the retreat experience, helping others find balance. Todd leads gentle Qigong warm-up and ensures everything runs smoothly, from guest pickups to grocery runs. Engage him in fascinating conversations about philosophy, ancient civilizations, or motorcycles and discover the depth of knowledge he brings to our center.
