Coconut water is said to be anti-fungal, anti-viral, and anti-microbial and helps remove toxins from the body. Not only is it a good source of minerals, antioxidants, and B vitamins but it has the same electrolyte balance as we have in our blood. Because of that it has even been used as an emergency IV solution.
We love being able to serve lots of fresh coconut water at our retreats. Not only do we offer it at “cocktail” hour but we also use it in our energy soup and smoothies and even culture it to make coconut water kefir, a drink loaded with probiotics.
